Devlog 04 Art updates
This week has primarily been Art updates and level creation, beginning with a logo for the game which can be used in the main menu and for promotional material, decided to incorporate some elements from the game its self so the design is tied in heavily with the in game feel.
- The main menu art has been overhauled incorporating the new logo and updated the buttons style for level selection.
- 6 new levels have also been created allowing you to progress further and challenge yourself in new and interesting ways.
- Level ratings are now shown on the level selection buttons allowing you to track your progress.
- The in building user interface now shows icons of the tools you can build.
- Tools have had an overhaul and look redesign.
- Sticky blocks now have proper art.
- Implemented a Danger Block, if the Marble hits this it will be destroyed(Art WIP).
- Fixed strange behaviour with bottle shooter, now the bottles can rebound off of tools and walls, allowing you to reuse the projectile to break more
Apart from these art fixes, other smaller bugs and user friendly features have been added.
However I didn't manage to implement all the finished art yet, there are still some things needing to be made:
- Kill Blocks art.
- End point art.
- Spawner art.
- Portal art.
