This project is for a uni project and is not a commercial product made by me, this is solely for education purposes only.
Assets Outsourced:
- Joystix by Typodermic Fonts.
- All other assets made by me.
List of features implemented:
- Ball random direction on spawn, exact same speed no matter the direction.
- One and Two player modes... see of you can beat the AI! :)
- Scoring system and winning system at 10 points.
- Main menu, Pause menu and Win screen.
- Increasing speed the more you successfully hit the ball.
- Sound Effects on collisions, different for wall player and score.
- Resetting game on win, or restart button in pause menu.
- Ball contained in play-space.
- Winning screen displays correct player name who one.
- One player mode with challenging AI enemy.
- Post processing for a more retro feel.

I love that the balls are super fast when you hit them but then slow down some before reaching your opponent (and vice versa). Removes a lot of the boring waiting from the original.
Also, you've got that CRT bend/bleeding at /just/ the right amount.

Thank you! yes I spent a lot of time getting the Ball to function just right and i'm happy with how the mechanics turned out, so glad you noticed and enjoyed playing :)
